Dream Gala Marks Anniversary with Millions for Research

Nearly 1,000 patrons celebrated the JDRF Seattle Guild's 20th Anniversary Dream Gala, raising more than $3 million for type 1 research. The festive evening, held March 7 at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel, featured fabulous cuisine and the presentation of the 2009 JDRF Living & Giving Award to The Lee Family and Lakeside Industries for their tremendous support of JDRF over the years. Jay Leno, host of The Tonight Show, kept the guests laughing during a memorable night.

We are grateful to the Dream Gala Co-Chairs Cindy and Sandy Levy, the event volunteers, and all the generous patrons who've helped raise more than $43 million for JDRF-funded research over the past 20 years.
